Press release : Apsara National Authority respond to the statement of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Angkor resident
On 16 December 2024, the Apsara National Authority issued a press release on the statement of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights of the United Nations Human Rights Council, expressing concerns over forced resettlement of Angkor residents for conservation on their official social media site.
According to the press, the Apsara National Authority always works to promote and respect human rights in accordance with the Constitution, which is the supreme law of Cambodia.
